• Terms and Conditions for Egypt Return to Self Journey

  • By saying yes to this event Egypt Return to Self Journey 2024 (known as event from here in afterwards) you agree to the terms and Conditions.

    Millennium Education or any of its affiliated organisers reserve the right to cancel, change dates, and venues of any advertised Outings or Workshops, known in this Refund Policy as an (event), up until 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

    All deposits and payments for an (event) are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance under “Change of mind, circumstance for consumer” with the exception of an (event) cancelled by the organisers.

    Millennium Education reserves the right to change the (event) content, duration and venue at any time in any country or city and will not be responsible for costs incurred by the registrants/attendees for airfares, hotels, accommodation or any other associated expenses.

    An (event) requires a minimum number of attendees to proceed. If an (event) does not have enough registered attendees Millennium Education reserve the right to cancel the (event) up to 72 hours prior to the advertised start time and date. Millennium Education will notify each registrant/attendee of any cancellation or change of venue via email.

    If Millennium Education or any of its affiliated organisers cancel an (event) the registrant/attendee will be notified via email and be provided with a full refund.

    If for some emergency reason you are unable to attend an event, you are required to contact Millennium Education during operating business hours (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm AEST) and inform them of the situation. A refund is not given but you will be given the opportunity to attend another event in the future, if not already fully booked, and to the same value, within 6 month limit from time of purchase. Millennium Education are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.

    Refunds are not given when agreeing to a purchase is a ‘special’ or ‘discounted’ if you decided to change your mind.

    Any claim, dispute, or controversy (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, whether pre-existing, present, future, and including statutory, common law, international tort and equitable claims) arising from or relating to this Agreement of Sale, its interpretations, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, the relationship which results from this Agreement of Sale (including, to the full extent permitted by applicable law, relationships with third parties who are not signatories to this Sale Agreement), Millennium Education advertising, or any related purchase shall be resolved exclusively and finally by binding arbitration administered by the courts of Australia.

    I understand this event will be photographed, recorded in various ways. I understand that my likeness may appear on photographs and/or my voice and/image may appear on video/audio, and I agree that no compensation will be paid to me for any use made of these photographs and audio/video recordings. I relinquish all rights I may be entitled to over such images or recordings. I consent to my image being used for marketing, education, teaching, social media, promotion, landing pages, media and in other way that Jean Sheehan and Millennium Education chooses.

    No recreational drugs
    No medicinal drugs or medicine, unless deemed essential by your medical doctor
    No snuff
    No medicinal mushrooms
    No hallucinogenic drugs or plant medicine
    No alcohol
    No Cigarettes
    No vaping devices or liquids or products

  • I understand that no essential oils will be used or worn as it can create a reaction to other attendees and facilitators of this event.

    Millennium Education requires all event participants to have an active comprehensive Travel Insurance Policy that covers for event activities within the designated country of the event, as well as travel to and from the event destination and venue.

    If you are unwell and unable to attend your event at short notice, we require you to provide us a Doctors certificate which states that you are unable to attend the event.

    Where a force majeure event gives rise to a failure or delay in us performing our obligations under these Terms and Conditions, those obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event. In the event a force majeure event renders the Retreat inoperable or unable to occur, Millennium Education will firstly look to re-schedule the event to a further suitable date and location, subject to Consumer protection legislation. A force majeure event will include: (a) any event which is beyond our reasonable control; (b) hacker attacks, or virus or other malicious software attacks or infections; (c) problems with the internet, part of the internet, or any third party internet service provider; (d) venue disruptions due to any cause; (e) Event disruptions due to any cause and/or (d) power failure, industrial disputes affecting any third party, governmental regulations, fires, floods, disasters, civil riots, terrorist attacks or wars affecting the event or your participation and attendance therein.

    You may not transfer, assign, charge, sub-license or otherwise deal in any of your rights or obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions. Any attempt by you to do so will be null and void. We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract, sub-license or otherwise deal in any or all of our rights or obligations arising hereunder, at any time providing that such action does not serve to reduce the guarantees benefiting you hereunder.

    The limitations of warranties and liability hereunder protect all our third-party suppliers and venues.

    These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between us and you in relation to the event and your attendance therein and supersedes all other (prior or contemporaneous) communications or displays whether electronic, oral, or written, between us and you in relation to the event.

    The provisions of these Terms and Conditions which by their nature survive termination or expiry of these Terms and Conditions, will survive cancellation of your registration or termination in respect of the event.

    You hereby warrant, represent and agree that you will always abide by and maintain reasonable, proper and professional standards of action and interaction with Millennium Education, the event, associated Parties and all third parties attending the event. To this end, you agree to never harm, harass, discriminate, bully or otherwise inflict pain or stress upon any such person prior to, during or after your attendance at the event.

    To avoid any doubt, Millennium Education and its Related Parties hereby reserve the right to cancel, void or vacate your person from any event location at its sole discretion upon which you shall not be entitled to any compensation or recourse therefrom.

    Millennium Education hereby reserves the right to refuse a sale, reject a sale, deny admission or remove from a event, any person for any reason, including, but not limited to, any harm or potential harm that person might cause, violation of the law, threats, disorderly behaviour, failure to make timely payment, illegal activity, or for any other reason that is not prohibited by law.

    I accept that I have with awareness read and understood this agreement. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure that I have adequate travel insurance coverage from when I am away from my home and for the duration of the event, along with associated travel.

    I have read and understand this waiver and voluntarily signed it with the knowledge that it is legally binding and will affect my legal rights.

    I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Millennium Education, their representatives and employees for any loss or damage I may endure in any way associated with my participation in this event.
