Sacred Symbols

Symbols are fundamental to our consciousness, thoughts, the nature of being human. They serve as vital codes we rely on to share experiences with others, so that they can see what we see and feel how we feel. Inextricably, symbols link our inner and outer worlds, making associations between thoughts and “reality” as we perceive it.

Beyond the limitations of their physical representation, symbols relate to deeper truths. To understand these truths requires the use of our intuition, since symbols provide us with insights that underlie the source of our creativity. The same creativity has facilitated our evolution because it has allowed us to see beyond the boundaries of the physical, the logical and the rational. True symbols “commune” with our hearts and souls; in effect they have a life of their own.

Sacred geometry is recognised as a common global heritage employed by the Inca, Egyptians, Romans, Celts, Asian Indians, Japanese, Australian Aborigines, Native Americans and the tribes of Africa. As sacred geometry grew in importance in many societies, geomancers, the experts in studying and employing sacred geometry in art and architecture, would have had a rounded education in mathematics, sciences, arts and the music of their time. Sacred geometry may be understood as a worldview of pattern recognition, a complex system of religious symbols and structures involving space, time and form.

Intent, the motivation behind a thought, a word or a deed, is the key to activating geometric shapes and patterns. True sacred geometry utilizes intent to release the inherent power of the number or the shape in our creations

SACRED GEOMETRY AND THE MERKABA

The Merkaba (sometimes spelled merkavah and/or Merkaba) is a vehicle of ascension. It was believed in ancient times, and even written about by the Hebrews, that the merkavah could be turned on by certain principles in meditation. This involves breathing changes, and mind, heart, and body changes that alter the way a person perceives the reality. A fully activated merkaba field enables you to turn your body into a ball of light and bring it with you as you travel from one dimensional world to another.

The key to understanding how to use the merkaba begins with a basic understanding of sacred geometry, which in turn will enable you to locate an electromagnetic field shaped in the form of a star tetrahedron. That field is around our bodies.

A star tetrahedron is made up of two interlocking tetrahedrons in a manner that resembles the Star of David, but three-dimensionally, the two interlocking tetrahedrons represent male and female energy in perfect balance. The tetrahedron facing up is male, and the one facing down is female. There is a star tetrahedral field around everything, not just our bodies.

From a holistic perspective, what we can call sacred geometry is in fact humanity’s legacy of pattern knowledge from all our forebears. At every scale of existence, from the subatomic to the galactic, the same key patterns bring all things into existence. It is a remarkable historical fact that many of these same patterns (including shapes, forms, proportions, and rhythms) have been well known for centuries, but within a much more holistic context than today. They are part of nature’s toolbox for effecting change and expressing itself. To give several simple examples. Nature uses the circle and the sphere as the primal container for energy and consciousness; it uses the vortex form to circulate and transmit energy and consciousness from one location to another; it uses the five perfect divisions of the sphere (popularly called the Platonic Solids) as the basis for diverse forms of matter.

PATTERNS IN LIFE

Central to the development of a new context-rich holistic science is the knowledge of interconnected natural patterns. Only by understanding the complete pattern, or structure, of a natural process can we responsibly seek to use or modify that process. From this perspective, sacred geometry becomes an essential foundation for creating a more balanced future, in the same way that the new biology and new cosmology are evolving the paradigm in their respective fields. In sacred geometry, a new holistic science of patterns and their interconnections unifies the knowledge of structures and processes discovered in modern scientific fields with the knowledge millennia by great world traditions and studies gathered over by the patterns common to them all. In sacred geometry, the artificial split between physics and metaphysics can be healed, and the foundations for a new healing science of the future can be established.

Today, with widespread talk of a clash of civilizations, combined with increasing conflicts between different religions and cultures, this larger context for understanding and integrating every tradition’s perspective can help lead to dialogue and mutual respect. The core patterns of nature are a basis for all true spirituality, as well as for science, and provide common ground for healing the fragmentation that is crippling our world.

In nature, we find patterns, designs and structures from the most minuscule particles, to expressions of life discernible by human eyes, to the greater cosmos. These inevitably follow geometrical archetypes, which reveal to us the nature of each form and its vibrational resonances. They are also symbolic of the underlying metaphysical principle of the inseparable relationship of the part to the whole. It is this principle of oneness underlying all geometry that permeates the architecture of all form in its myriad diversity. This principle of interconnectedness, inseparability and union provides us with a continuous reminder of our relationship to the whole, a blueprint for the mind to the sacred foundation of all things created.

SACRED PATTERNS OF THE BODY

Simple geometric symbols, such as Squares, Triangles, Crosses and Spirals, contain messages that have been consistently represented for eons in the physical world by symbols in religion, philosophy, mythology, mysticism, the arts and sciences. The shapes’ messages are built into our genetic make-up and we recognize them instinctively. This makes geometry a universal language that allows us to unlock knowledge contained in our ‘memory’ about the true nature of reality. This universal language lives. It is evident everywhere around us, celebrated throughout nature. It remains vibrant and completely unaffected by the changing values of the current society, so retaining its capacity to ‘wake up’ each new generation if they choose to read it.”

Millennium Education and MMMI teaching/courses created by Jean Sheehan shows a way to learn how to understand sacred geometry and provides a way of using it to connect back to the oneness / absolute lovethrough the use of the tools learnt in the courses, which is able to be comprehended quickly and well. You don’t just get to learn about sacred geometry you get to experience it – yours eyes are opened to what you haven’t seen but are right in front of you and you are able to connect with it all.
