Today I am in Mexico taking another group of amazing souls through the Mayan Odyssey in the Yucatan area of Mexico. They are learning about the Mayan Mystery School wisdom with me. I am sharing some of the goodies and healing with you. Read on and then if you want healing please reply to this email requesting the healing which I will do remotely.

Part of the healing journey for this odyssey is swimming in the cenotes.  In Mayan culture cenotes are considered sacred gateways to the underworld. Rituals and ceremonies were conducted at the cenotes, seeking blessings, purification, and healing. And that is what we are doing at this event. Cenotes are natural sinkholes found in the Yucatan peninsula. Mayans have always believed them to be healing. They are filled with magnesium, calcium and other minerals that are absorbed through the skin and can assist to detoxify the body and enhance circulation. The serene environment combined with the buoyancy of the water reduces stress and promotes relaxation. This is where we are doing healing of the body.

In the heart of the Yucatan lush jungles and mysterious caves lies a secret world that whispers the name ALUXES. These enigmatic beings are woven into folklore and Mayan culture. They are living tradition, a mystical connection between the human realm and the unseen realm. Aluxes are small, supernatural beings who inhabit the jungles, caves, fields and cenotes. They are knee high and similar to an elf. These mythical beings are known for their playful nature and deep connection to the land. They are the guardians of nature, protectors of homes. They are deeply respected by the local people. Miniature houses called KAHTAL ALUX are built to provide shelter for the Aluxes, and offerings of food and drink are left to keep them content. Last time I was in Mexico I saw heaps at the cenotes.
